Brickwork Demo Book a session

Private & small-group lacrosse / Boys & girls, grades 3–12

Sixty minutes.
Nothing
wasted.

Every session is planned before your player gets out of the car, and the plan is published right here. You will know what was worked on, how many reps it took, and what to do at the wall before next week.

The skill board

What actually gets
worked on

Most training pages say "stick skills, shooting, defense" and stop there. This is the whole menu, with the cue said on the field and the rep target attached. Filter it by what your player plays.

The coach

Coach Riley Bevan

I played attack in college and spent four years after that coaching high school, which is where I learned that most players do not need more drills. They need one thing fixed at a time, said in a way they can repeat on their own driveway on a Tuesday.

So that is how I run sessions. One skill of the day, enough live reps that it survives contact, and homework small enough that it actually gets done. Parents get the notes too, because the wall work between sessions is where the improvement really comes from.

From parents

What families say

“The notes after every session are the thing. My daughter knows exactly what to do at the wall, and I am not the one nagging her about it any more.”

Parent · 2029 midfield

“He came to our field, on our schedule, and told us honestly that my son needed six weeks of ground balls before anything else. That was worth the money on its own.”

Parent · 2031 defense

“First goalie coach who worked on tracking instead of just firing shots at her. Her save percentage moved in one season.”

Parent · 2028 goalie

Questions

Before you book

Where do sessions happen?

Any field, park, or driveway with a wall and room to shoot. The coach travels to you within 25 minutes of town; beyond that a travel charge applies. Winter sessions move to rented indoor turf, which adds $25 to the session.

Is my player too young, or too advanced?

Grades 3 through 12, beginner through committed college recruit. A first-year player and a recruit get the same structure — one skill of the day, live reps, homework — the content is just different.

What should we bring?

Stick, helmet or goggles, gloves, cleats, water, and a ball bag if you have one. For goalie sessions, full gear. Everything else is provided.

What if the first session is not a fit?

It is free. Say so within 48 hours and the charge is reversed, no conversation needed.

Do you help with recruiting?

Film review as an add-on, and honest guidance on where a player realistically fits. No promises about placements, and no fee for introductions.

Cancellations?

Free up to 48 hours out. Inside 48 hours the session is charged unless it is weather, in which case it always moves.
